AMR 2026 to establish a multi-functional platform that serves the entire automotive value chain, spanning from maintenance centres to mobility and logistics stakeholders

12 Apr 2026

The 74th edition of Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR) will open tomorrow, from 13 to 15 April 2026 at the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center (CIECC). This year, the show will converge 1,385 industry leaders and their advanced technologies, innovative products and solutions from over 3,000 brands across various product sectors, including maintenance and repair instruments, parts and components, accessories and customising, as well as commercial vehicle and road transport equipment. Spanning 80,000 sqm space, the event creates a dynamic environment for participants across the value chain to connect and engage with market peers, and explore emerging developments. This is further supported by 49 fringe events in various formats, alongside expanded zones.

As a leading exhibition in the automotive aftermarket, AMR builds on its industry roots to drive innovation. This edition continues the theme “Informed by legacy, ushering in transformation for a sustainable future,” presenting a roadmap from traditional maintenance practices to NEV specialised repairs, to intelligent diagnostics and intelligent connectivity. It serves as a platform for trade, knowledge exchange, industry services, and talent development. To address emerging markets in Africa, Southeast Asia and South America, the show will align with industry expansion needs and host fringe events and exhibitors from other product clusters to help participants capture opportunities and gain lasting advantages.

This year’s show will welcome 58 domestic and international visitor delegations bringing about 10,000 professional visitors to visit the show. Within this, leading domestic industry associations such as Anhui Provincial Automobile Maintenance Industry Association, Liaoning Road Transport Association, Xi’an Motor Vehicle Service Industry Associations, and Xinjiang Road Transport Association will be forming visitor groups, among others. Meanwhile, in light of leading domestic new energy vehicles (NEV) manufacturers furthering their efforts for international market expansion, overseas buyers are now procuring compatible aftermarket maintenance and repair service solutions and related technologies to address local demands. Hence the show will also welcome visitor delegations from India, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and more.

Expanded exhibition zones to host exhibitors from the entire value chain
AMR 2026 has attracted impactful brands from all around the world, with its product categories spanning from Diagnostics & Repair, Body & Paint, Car Wash & Care, Tyres & Wheels, Parts & Components, Electrics & Connectivity, Accessories & Customising, Industry Services and Commercial Vehicle & Road Transport Equipment. This all-encompassing show floor presents an integrated platform that allows exhibitors to explore opportunities in emerging markets and increase readiness for international expansion.

Exhibitor numbers have increased by 21 percent this year, with the maintenance and repair segment seeing a notable 32 percent rise, as it welcomes featured exhibitors in the sector including Anche, Big Red, Bright, Corghi, Dali, FY-TECH and Sunshine to present products and equipment such as tyre disassembly and balancing, four-wheel alignment, sheet metal restoration, diagnostics and examination, and more through practical workshop scenarios. Being supported by favourable policies and rising consumer spending, interests in customising and modification continue to grow as exhibitor numbers and exhibition space in this sector doubled, with leading brands such as CKTIGERSUV, GoodYear, Haobang, Makhop, NAR, and Reflek showcasing care products, films, oils, lubricants, and accessories, underscoring the strong momentum in the aftermarket. Additionally, parts and components sector leaders like ADD, Gold Phoenix, Luoshi, Wonder Halla, SORL, and Qufu Temb will present smart suspension, high-performance braking discs and thermal management solutions.

With the push towards electrification, intelligent connectivity and digitalisation, maintenance shops traditionally focused on internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles now sees a growing demand for products and solutions servicing new energy vehicle (NEV), as well as smart workshop systems and second-hand car restoration. Meanwhile, specialised maintenance for ICE vehicles presents an untapped market potential for these shops as overall vehicle ownership growth decreases and the market shifts from expansion to consolidation. Hence, the AMR Training Workshop zone will bring together leading brands like CATL, DeepNeuro Access, Haide Technologies, MIRKA and Shandong Dexi sharing their experiences and case studies through seminars and discussions. In addition, a number of exhibitors will also showcase solutions like ADAS radar calibration, NEV powertrain maintenance, robotic polishing and finishing solutions, and AI-driven diagnostics.

Meanwhile, the used-car restoration area will present innovative products that this emerging industry brings to light, empowering service providers. Within it, Jin Liuhe Numerical Intelligent Sheet Metal Spray Course Research and Development Center will feature their digitalised sheet metal painting training system, and Jilin Technology College of Electronic Information will discuss how skills taught at their second-hand car restoration courses can be transferred into real-life.

This year’s exhibition will also feature an expanded Commercial Vehicle & Road Transport Equipment Zone that will showcase collaborative innovations across the entire supply chain, responding to demands from the automotive industry and the mobility and logistics sector. With smart logistics rapidly developing, the zone will feature freight vehicles, simulators, autonomous delivery, and smart transport solutions. Exhibitors include China Automotive Engineering Research Institute and its testing equipment, NEOLIX with X3 and X6 autonomous delivery vehicles and solutions, and Sanlian with driving simulators that raise safety awareness for professional drivers.

In line with the accelerated adoption of intelligent technologies and NEVs, this year’s exhibition will showcase commercial vehicle models from several leading OEMs, including Foton, Dongfeng Trucks, Dongfeng Liuzhou, JAC Group, Qingling Motors, and more. In addition, leading experts and professional organisations will present their testing process for commercial vehicles that is developed in accordance with the latest policy guidelines, which will include leading commercial vehicle models.

Encouraging collaboration through diversified fringe events
One of the show’s key highlights, the 8th Automotive Aftermarket Conference was held today, where industry leaders and experts shared insights on policies, case studies and business matching, offering advanced strategies for repair and service centres, brand chains and industry players to expand internationally. The morning session highlighted the outlook for the China automotive industry in the new global market landscape, opportunities from automotive aftermarket innovation, the technological advancements in aftermarket services for NEVs. In the afternoon, three parallel sessions further explored key topics like independent aftermarket service centres, opportunities in the accessories and components sector, cross-border market expansion, as well as how to use internet virality to improve business in regional markets, and many more topics, setting the scene for industry conversations that transcend borders, brands and sectors.

Over the three days, AMR will be hosting 49 fringe events in a range of formats. Within the list of events, three competitions will be standout features, including the 3rd Automobile Paint Finishing Vocational Skills Competition 2026, which will highlight topics like safety, sustainability, energy efficiency, and smart development. The competition will also showcase the latest progress from automotive vocational education institutes and talent development initiatives. In addition, the Automobile Wrapping Film Creative Skills Competition 2026 features practitioners and rising talents. Meanwhile, the 2nd Automotive Maintenance Case Competition Grand Finals and Automotive Maintenance Digital Exchange Forum will help build a digitalised shared industry knowledge base through short-form video-based case studies.
